Government Medical Colleges in Meghalaya

Meghalaya has only one Government Medical College, which is North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong. It was established in the year 2008 and is one of the premier medical institutes in the North-East region of India. In Meghalaya, a total of 50 MBBS seats are available in government medical colleges.
