Arunachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling is the official admission process for MBBS and other medical courses in the state. The Arunachal Pradesh MBBS counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Training & Research (DMETR) under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. The counselling is organized for candidates seeking admission to medical courses under the state quota. To participate in Arunachal Pradesh NEET counselling, candidates must qualify for the NEET UG examination in the same academic year. Applicants should have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board. They must also meet the minimum qualifying percentile set by the National Testing Agency. In addition, candidates are required to provide valid documents such as identity proof, educational certificates, and domicile proof if applicable during the counselling process.

At present, there are no private medical colleges in the state. Therefore, admission opportunities are limited, and candidates must have a competitive NEET score to secure a seat.

The counselling process generally includes several stages. First, candidates must complete the online registration on the official website. After registration, they need to attend document verification at the designated centre. Once verification is completed, candidates can participate in the choice filling process where they select their preferred colleges and courses. Based on NEET rank and preferences, the authority conducts seat allotment. Finally, selected candidates must report to the allotted college to complete admission formalities.

In Arunachal Pradesh MBBS admissions, seats are divided into two main quotas. Approximately 85 percent of seats in government medical colleges are reserved for state quota counselling conducted by the state authority.
